## Details

A rural Irish family gathers to celebrate a birthday, but tensions quickly rise when they confront one sister’s relationship with a refugee. Fierce, funny and immediate, Deirdre Kinahan’s ADRIFT explores fear, belonging and Ireland’s complicated relationship with emigration and immigration. Taking the arguments that divide communities and bringing them into the heart of an Irish kitchen, this contemporary family drama is both deeply human and unsettling. Directed by Marc Atkinson Borrull and featuring a stellar cast, ADRIFT promises an honest and thought-provoking night at the theatre.
