DEAD AIR by Alfrun Rose takes place from 28 October 2026 to 29 October 2026 at The Mick Lally Theatre, The Mick Lally Theatre, Druid Ln, Galway.
Since Alfie’s dad died, he’s visited everyone’s dreams but hers. Rude. Desperate to talk to him, she uses AiR, an AI chatbot for the dead. A heartfelt, funny, and glitchy deep dive into grief, ghosts, and digital obsession.
Written and performed by Alfrun Rose, Dead Air is a play about the intense desire for one more conversation. An AI resurrection with dark humour and offbeat storytelling. There is no AI in the performance; instead, it is intentionally analogue, with Alfrun playing all 7 characters, often in dialogue with each other.
Content notes: bereavement, discussion of death and AI simulation of deceased persons.
Age guidance: 16+yrs
