Hell’s Kitchen on Castlerea’s Main Street is famed as the only pub in Ireland with a full-scale train inside: a 1955 Metropolitan-Vickers A Class diesel locomotive, surrounded by one of the country’s largest private collections of railway memorabilia. Closed for 12 years, the bar reopened in 2023 and now serves breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week.
